It then can’t metabolize fat as quickly or efficiently as it could when the kidneys were pulling their own weight. If you allow this to happen, not only are you being unfair to your liver, but you’re also setting yourself up to store fat.
The body, in a state of dehydration, will try an store as much water as possible in many places in the body. So when you drink more water, your body will actually shed some of the water stores it has been carrying around for the past couple of year. This excess water storage can range from 2 – 5 lbs depending on your body type.
