Kirsten has been Personal Training for over 2 years, since being certified with Canfit Pro in 2013. She has trained a variety of individuals, focusing on overall health and wellness of both body and mind.
Kirsten began her own fitness journey after completing a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Toronto in 2011. She utilized fitness during this time to overcome personal health issues and fell in love with the feeling of accomplishment and positivity that fitness brought to her life. She decided to change paths and begin a career in fitness to help others to find their own balance and freedom through fitness.
Kirsten has played a variety of sports all her life, namely soccer, and has run 3 half marathons in the last 2 years. She uses this experience to guide her clients through circuits that work each muscle group, including the most important one, the heart! She makes a point of incorporating mobility work and rehab into her client’s workout regimes in order to make exercise as safe and effective as possible. Kirsten strives to have her client’s leave each session feeling motivated and excited to reach their goals, whatever they may be.
