Do you REALLY need a trainer?

Over the years I become a little obsessed with the gym. Spending more time there than I do at home even. In the beginning I was that girl, thinking I knew what was up when it came to my workouts. I thought I knew my stuff, nope. I was so wrong.

I find often I hear people say “I spent a lot of time going nowhere on the elliptical” I relate to this so well, but it was not just the elliptical I was going no where on! The truth is until I paired up with my trainer I was doing nothing but wasting my time and money at the gym! Spending my time doing exercises i could easily be doing at home, not taking advantage of what my gym had that I couldnt find in my living room. The truth is I was mainly doing body weight exercises, afraid of the machines and free weights. Worried I would incorrectly use them, look silly and at worst injure myself.

I wasnt seeing results, I was spending ALL of my time at the gym and all my energy was focused on on what I could do for my next workout, or how what I was going to eat was going to effect my body. Dont get me wrong, being health conscious is great but for me it was taking away from the other things I had going on in my life. not to mention making me extremely unhappy with myself! I was trying to be my own personal trainer and it just was not working for me. I was feeling defeated, over the gym and ready to accept the fate that I would never have a six pack.

Fast forward to today, I have a trainer and am seeing my hard work FINALLY pay off. its amazing what you think could be benefiting you could really be hindering your workouts,

FAQs

Do I really need a personal trainer?

Not everyone does, but if you feel stuck, unmotivated, or unsure what to do at the gym, a trainer can help you see results faster and more safely.

Can a trainer help prevent injuries?

Yes. Trainers teach proper form and technique, which lowers your risk of injury and helps you get the most out of each workout.

Are personal trainers worth the money?

If you’ve been spending hours in the gym without results, investing in a trainer can actually save you time and frustration in the long run.

What if I’m intimidated by gym equipment?

You’re not alone. Many people avoid machines and free weights because they don’t know how to use them. A trainer helps build confidence and teaches you how to use equipment correctly.

Will a trainer really help me get results faster?
