If they’re surrounded by unhealthy food and the people who always fill them with junk, then it’s no wonder why they feel like they can’t do anything about their weight. If you’re heavily reliant on your environment, then you need to make some changes.
You need to surround yourself with people who make you feel good about yourself, who make you feel empowered, who remind you that you can do anything you put your mind to. You need to put yourself in an environment that makes you feel physically and mentally good. If you can’t cut out all the bad elements in your life, then at the very least, you need to surround yourself with the right people.
4. Your Goals
Last but not least, your goals are fundamental in helping you to lose weight. The bigger your goals are, the more motivation you’ll have to achieve them. If you set goals that are too easy to achieve, then you’re not giving yourself an incentive to work harder.
This goes hand-in-hand with your attitude. It’s very important to set goals that are challenging, but not impossible to achieve. It’s important to set big goals for yourself, but not so big that you lose sight of what you’re doing. Remember that goal-setting is everything.
