DEVIN MATTHEWS

Devin is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Exercise Science/Sports Medicine degree. He has competed at the provincial, collegiate and national level playing soccer.
He also enjoys outdoor activities in the local mountains including, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding, snowshoeing and everything in between. With Devin’s experience, he will get you to your next fitness level.

JANINE BOLTON

Janine graduated from the Nutritional Sciences program at the University of Alberta, and completed a one year dietetic internship to become a Registered Dietitian. Janine has been involved in fitness for over 10 years, has competed in fitness competitions and is passionate about helping motivated people reach their fitness and health goals.

Janine’s past experiences include working as a personal trainer and acting as Head Nutrition Consultant for Edmonton’s #1 Voted Fitness facility, managing five locations. She currently works with a wide range of clients, writes a nutrition blog, and runs a National Environmental Food service program.

Virgil Isaacs

Virgil uses a unique approach to fitness combining Martial Arts, Cardio, and Strength conditioning. Since the age of 9 he has been interests in martial arts, earned his black belt in Karate, and now has 3 years experience of training and fighting in Boxing & Muay Thai Kickboxing. After completing his certification and through sound education and plenty of experience, he has also become a skilled strength trainer and weightlifter. He emphasizes a natural approach to exercise by promoting functional movements and the use of bodyweight, and places a great deal of importance on nutrition, health, and wellness. Virgil believes in the power of the mind and the power of determination in pushing the body to its ultimate limit to achieve maximum results and growth. The sky is the limit.

Christian Kubas

Christian Kubas is currently pursuing his B.Sc. in Kinesiology with aspirations of becoming a physiotherapist. He tutors first year Kinesiology students in exercise physiology. Christian is an advocate for healthy lifestyles and can help put you on the right track towards a better quality of life. Mia Gower

Mia is certified by the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP). She completed a two year Exercise Science diploma at Lethbirdge College, in Alberta. She has been physically active her whole life, anything from snowboarding to kayaking. For the past eight plus years she has been dedicated to a steady fitness regime and trying to acquire as much fitness based knowledge as possible. Studying under C.H.E.K Certified professionals, taking classes from one of the top athletic coaches in Alberta and from fitness professionals who have trained all around the word with different age groups. She is incredibly passionate about fitness and is constantly wanting to learn and grow as a trainer. Through education, enthusiasm and passion Mia will get her clients to their goals and improve their quality of life. Through a combination of functional movements and going back to the basics, her clients will be amazed. She strongly believes that physical activity is a lifestyle, not a quick fix. If you put in the work, you will see results.

SEAN CONNER

Sean has a diverse background in the health field, which can be applied specifically to your need whatever it may be. He has a Bachelors of Kinesiology and specialized experience as a physiotherapy assistant, athletic trainer, national level coach, paramedic, sport-specific strength and conditioning instructor, active rehabilitation kinesiologist, and personal trainer. Sean is a member of the professional associations BC Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK) and Canadian Kinesiology Association (CKA).

Utilizing his unique blend of experience and knowledge of exercise science Sean will work with you to reach your fitness, health, sport, and rehabilitative goals.

As a past international-level athlete Sean continues to enjoy a variety of physical activities such as running, climbing, hiking, yoga, snowboarding, sport-specific training, and hockey. He also enjoys healthy cooking, and volunteering at the hospital.

Michelle Watkin

Michelle uses her background in dance and Yoga and degree in Kinesiology to design unique programs that target the goals and needs of the client. Through her studies she has developed a strong interest in active rehabilitation. Her sessions will emphasize the proper alignment and technique of each exercise to prevent and/or recover from injuries.

Laura Edwards

Laura has a degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Australia and has completed a Level One CrossFit course, an area she specialises in. Laura likes to keep a strong focus on technique and working on the big muscle groups, using functional fitness to prepare you for anything life can throw at you. She is a strong believer in the idea that a healthy lifestyle = a happy camper. That exercising and eating well doesn’t have to be a chore if you find the way that’s right for you.
